SO THIS IS IT!

Hahahaha.

After years (yes, years!I'm not exaggerating!) of beating around the bushes, I finally had the guts to write my very first entry on my blog.

Clap, clap, clap. Giggle, giggle, giggle.

Too much excitement, you say! Giggle again. I have been playing around with the idea of making my own blog since 2010, when I saw one post of a friend sharing his very own first blog post.  I got interested and he encouraged me. I fiddled with my own blog (I already have a Google account so it was not a problem), tweaked a few things here and there and found a good topic that is worthy of becoming my first post. 

And after a few days, bam, I got stuck! I found out that I didn't have enough ideas to expound my writing. And then, I second-guessed myself, thinking if this was really a good idea after all. I got 'demotivated'. And well, the rest is history.

And now, it's 2013! Hello to blogging again!

In hindsight, what really 'demotivated' me from pushing through my blog was when I started comparing my own blog site layout, posts and designs to others. I was like 'How did she do that?', 'Oh my, she has superb writing skills!', 'I want her blog design too!'. It ran around my head like a fly buzzing annoyingly and it got the best of me. Inferiority set in. It felt like I was the worst writer/blogger of all time. And I haven't even started yet, you see?

But heck, now that I feel wiser (I think), I realized that there are NO definite rules. The only rule is: WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS, NOT OTHERS'. It doesn't matter if it is long, short, very flowery, serious, or funny as long as it is your own. As long as you can call it your own.

And now that I came to the point in my life when I know I have lots of stuff to share, where Facebook, I believe, can't totally handle, this blog will help me share all of it. Oh boy, I'm really, really excited! 

So, kudos to me! Yehey! I know this is just the tip of the iceberg but I solemnly hope that my interest on this won't wane over time. 

Clap, clap, clap. Giggle, giggle, giggle.
